Update... September 2012

Its been quite a few weeks for me and the team in Philippines.

The recent typhoons and monsoon rains which caused the floods in Manila and its surrounding provinces caused further delays to our project to launch our first vessel into operations in Palau.

New plans have to be put together and into action which will see us move MV Solitude One into the shipyard first to undergo her remodelling and retrofitting to become a vessel of Solitude standard. New artist impressions are being drawn out and will be posted to give everyone an idea what she will look like.

Cruise Schedule announcement has also been postponed to a later date (tentatively to be announced early October 2012). The cruise schedule will be announced together with the rates and the data sheet of the vessel.

Thank you all for support and your continuing reminders that you are just waiting for our liveaboard to be ready to make that dream Palau liveaboard holiday that you had always wanted to go!

The Journey Begins...

It has been a while since the page started with a promise to update our progress.. well, usual local admin and facilitation delays, we have finally taken over the 2 vessels physically since last week and are now getting clearances for us to move the vessels out of Batangas into Navotas (Philippines) where our works to retrofit, remodel and rebuild the vessels will be carried out. The vessels have also been renamed to Solitude One and Solitude 2.

Solitude 2 will be first to have her makeover and once she has her works completed, she will be first to go into operations in Palau.

From here on, you will see some artist impressions, general layout and also the release of 2013 Schedule in Palau for bookings!

Not one, but two liveaboards... Its the Solitude Fleet!

Recently launched, the new liveaboard fleet, named "Solitude Liveaboards" is a brand new start-up led by Andrew Lok. Those familiar with Andrew will know the kind of quality of the liveaboard, the professional and service ethos to expect of Solitude.

The Solitude Fleet will see the first of two ships, 'Solitude 1' serving Palau and Philippines (Summer 2012) while another, 'Solitude 2" in the Maldives (2013).

Our official website will be launched in the middle of 2012 and as we are still in the stage of development, we will be using this Blog to make announcements as well as keeping everyone updated with the progress. Stay tuned for teaser photographs of our vessels as well introductions of the opening team members!
